SUMMARY: ESet Nod32 Antivirus recently added new anti-spyware, anti-spam, and new firewall and smart security features. It has advanced, ThreatSense detection software and updated scanning engine for speedy and accurate processing. REVIEW: ESet NOD32 Antivirus has the most accurate and lowest false-positives overhead. It uses about 40MB disk space and the scan system is up to 30 times faster than other software. The software recently upgraded their codes to identify security threats that no longer come in the form of only viruses/spam/phishing but in a blended mode. ESet Smart Security firmly integrates antispam, antispyware, and firewall in its scanning engine. This makes a global information sharing possible with all modes. The software’s ThreatSense technology ensures maximum level of accuracy. THE PROS: Strong antispyware, antispam, and Firewall protecting. Smart and efficient interfaces. THE CONS: May have some network issues while configuration.
